Blog Introduction

Hi, I'm Ballu Koroma an A2 Media Studies student. The purpose of this blog is to document and provide evidence of the research and planning of the task I am about to undertake. The brief for the A2 Media coursework is to produce a film marketing campaign in a specific genre (horror), including a trailer, magazine front cover and a poster.

This project differs from the AS coursework in the following ways:

• The work is a collaborative effort, meaning the group based nature of the project will present new challenges for myself and the rest of the group
• We are using video based media as well as print media in the poster and magazine cover. Although this will be challenging, I am looking forward to learning new skills in media production
• The brief asks us to create various media products, presenting yet another challenge
